Experience
While an undergraduate, I attended the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, where I completed my B.S. in Genetics, Cell Biology, and Development at the same time that I completed my B.A. in Spanish Studies. Since I graduating, I have returned to the same university to work on an additional B.S in Neuroscience. After graduation, I plan to attend a graduate school and eventually complete a Ph.D. in Behavioral Neuroscience. I have enjoyed my time at the university, where I have been an active member and current captain of the Co-ed Cheerleading team. I have also worked in the Nature of Life program both as a peer mentor and as a teaching assistant. These experiences have led me to find my passion for working with students, which I find both fulfilling and rewarding. I believe it is my responsibility as a tutor to teach in such a way that imparts knowledge onto my student as well as a deep understanding of the material. I tutor a variety of subjects, but I mostly enjoy genetics, Spanish, molecular biology, and cellular biology. I truly enjoy sharing the knowledge I have gained in these areas with my students. In my free time, I like reading, hiking, weight lifting, and camping.
