When offering a tutoring session, I believe it is just as important to give the students the "why" behind a theory as it is to tell them the "how." I enjoy taking problems apart and showing the students just how each individual area works. By combining these two methods, students leave with a stronger foundation in a subject. Learning should be fun and stress should be kept to a minimum. I specialize in math, and have spent much of my educational career taking various mathematical courses. Currently, I can offer assistance in arithmetic, middle school math, pre-algebra, algebra 1-4, pre-calculus, calculus 1-3, multivariable calculus, geometry, statistics, trigonometry, and AP calculus AB. I also have experience with SAT and standardized test preparation.I live in Middletown, Connecticut, and currently attend Wesleyan University. In my spare time, I enjoy playing guitar, listening to music, painting, drawing, and designing. You can also find me spending time with friends and playing basketball.
