I am interested in being a tutor because I love working with children. I have worked at a summer camp for 6+ years as a lifeguard, swimming instructor, special needs advocate, and counselor for both day and overnight camps. This experience allows we to work with ages 4-12 and has given me a vast knowledge of working with children of all ages and from all backgrounds. I also teach swimming lessons for ages 3-12 during the school year which truly allows me to focus on different teaching techniques on a regular basis. I have experienced first hand what it is like to see a child reach a goal and helping them recognize their potential in the process is an extremely rewarding experience.
